This was us in November 2006 when we won the Chelmsford Competitive Music Festival in the Barbershop Quartet class. OK, so we were the only entry in that class but we did get a very high mark and it was a great experience in our formative days. Our lead on this occasion was Martin Baker (yellow shirt).
We were delighted to be asked in 2007 to sing on a regular basis for the patrons at the Royal Horticultural Society's Hyde Hall Gardens. Not only did it give us an opportunity to do what we love most but at the same time we were able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and meet a lot of nice people. Thank you, Hyde Hall, and we look forward to singing for you again on 14th, 20th and 27th August this year.
In full flow at Hyde Hall.
We have our admirers in the younger generation.
A slightly different line up this time with Terry at lead.
We are surprise guests for Ros's birthday. She was............years old. (Surely you didn't really think we would tell you. We are gentlemen, if nothing else!)
Maldon Victorian Evening 2007 in Cancer Research Charity Shop. "What shall we sing next?"
Problem solved - in full singing mode!
June 2008 and we sing at a charity function for Essex Air Ambulance. Not our usual line-up. L to R Peter, Terry, John and our guest baritone for the day, John Alcock.
Back at Hyde Hall in 2008
